SystemBionic: private, native software for Mac, iPhone and Apple Watch

SystemBionic is an independent software company that builds private, native software for Apple platforms. Its products are Ortix Browser for Mac and Xified for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Both run their intelligence on the device and keep personal data on your devices and in your own iCloud.

SystemBionic was founded on April 16, 2025 by Balša Bošković, who leads its product and engineering. The company is SystemBionic, LLC.

Ortix Browser is a native Mac browser built on WebKit, now at version 7. It has Spaces, split view with up to four panes, Quick Search with a calculator, a media player with Picture in Picture and a per tab audio mixer, a sidebar file manager, a grammar assistant, an ad and tracker blocker, and a Touch ID password vault. It requires macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon.

Yes. Ortix is free to download and use. Ortix Pro adds unlimited spaces, agentic Mia, grammar help, the audio mixer and the sidebar file manager for $5.99 a month after a 7 day free trial. Ortix Pro is also included with a Setapp membership.

Mia is the AI assistant built into Ortix. It reads pages, sorts tabs, writes with you and can act in the browser for you, with permission modes that decide how far it goes. With a model that runs on your Mac, nothing you ask leaves the computer. You can also bring your own key for OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter, Ollama, Setapp AI or a custom endpoint.

Xified is a personal dashboard for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, now at version 2. It keeps habits, tasks, a journal with on device transcription, finances with on device receipt scanning, an ideas canvas and Brainwave Entrainment in one app. It is free to start on the App Store, with Xified Premium at $5.99 a month.

On your devices. Ortix keeps browsing data on your Mac, and Xified stores everything on your iPhone and syncs only through your own iCloud account. SystemBionic runs no servers for your content and uses no third party trackers. Diagnostics are optional.

Ortix and Xified are the first two pieces of one system across Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The goal is leading software, and eventually hardware, built around structural privacy, an experience that feels incredible to use, and technology that extends what people can do themselves.
