1. Information We Collect
Personal Information: When you create an account, request beta access, or contact us, we may collect personal information such as your name and email address.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our Services, including the features you use and the time spent on our website or applications.
Device Information: We may collect information about your device, including device type, operating system, and browser type.
Custom Analytics: Our custom analytics implementation is designed to minimize personal data. By default we record anonymous aggregate traffic statistics (for example, number of visits, pages viewed, and approximate country-level location derived from your IP at request time and immediately discarded) using one-way hashed daily visitor keys—never raw IP addresses—and without building individual behavioral profiles. We do not require cookies for these anonymous aggregate counts.
Optional Session Analytics (Cookie Consent): Only if you explicitly grant analytics consent do we additionally record per-session metrics (such as session duration and pages-per-visit) tied to a randomly generated session identifier stored on your device. You can decline at any time, in which case we record nothing beyond what is described above—and if you opt out, we stop counting your visits entirely.
Ortix Browser Diagnostics:The Ortix app sends anonymous aggregate usage diagnostics by default, consistent with the usage-statistics model of major web browsers. You may opt out at any time in the app's settings, and opting out is the only state that disables this. The diagnostics consist of a one-time install signal and a periodic active-user heartbeat (sent immediately on launch and then roughly every 30 minutes while the app is running, counted at most once per day per device), along with app version and platform. Country-level region is determined server-side from the connection IP at the time of each request using standard CDN and GeoIP services; the IP itself is never stored. Downloads from our website are counted similarly at the country level. These signals use irreversible hashed device keys and cannot identify you or your browsing activity.
