Meet EVVE#
- A new name and a new mark. Mia is now EVVE, the AI built into Ortix
- Pages of its own. EVVE works in pages out of your tabs and off screen, so it never takes over what you are reading
- Agent Sessions. Let an agent you trust browse through Ortix, with a private key only you hold and sessions you can watch or close from Settings
Profiles#
- Keep your worlds apart. Each profile keeps its own sign ins, cookies and website data, so one site can be open as two accounts at once
- A profile for every space. Choose one when you create or edit a space, and decide whether spaces share cookies, stay separate, or chain to one profile
- Clean removal. Deleting a profile erases only its own data
A calmer sidebar#
- Collections. Group tabs under a name, fold them away, and open them exactly as you left them
- One address bar. A single glass tray that grows into its suggestions when you type
- The player lives in the dock. Whatever plays sits at the foot of the sidebar with live levels, and the mixer is one hover away
- Show Sidebar on Hover. In the compact rail, move to the left edge and the full sidebar slides over the page without moving it
- Your choice of place. Downloads, Files, EVVE, History and Settings open in the sidebar or centred on the page
Home#
- One dock. Personalize, Favourites and Add sit in a single dock at the bottom of the home page, one panel at a time
- Favourites as a grid, with their titles
Extensions, rebuilt#
- Install from the Chrome Web Store. Open an extension's page and add it in one step
- Extensions behave. Their shortcuts, menus and updates work the way they expect
- Password managers connect. Extensions that talk to their Mac app, like iCloud Passwords, now work
Keyboard and search#
- Every shortcut is yours. Change or remove the keys for any command, and the menus and the Guide follow
- Find on page, rebuilt. Every match is lit, with the number of matches beside the field
- Tab shortcuts walk your pins first, then your strip, in order
Updates#
- What's New. A short walk through each release after you update, and any time from the Help menu
- A new update card. What changed, the download and the restart in one place
Look and feel#
- HDR Highlights. The audio meter and the loading light shine brighter on displays that support it
- Your Ortix card. Find it in Settings, under Account
Stability#
- Quick View windows close from their close button again
- Many smaller fixes and refinements throughout
Requires#
- macOS 26 or later. Apple silicon
